The reportage “Versteckt in Mitte” [Hidden in Mitte] was first conceived during a comics journalism workshop and it was published – in an expanded version – in the Swiss magazine Strapazin. In this work, the artist Alexandra Rügler and I report on the latest stages of the gentrification process in Berlin by visiting two buildings that had been occupied shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
