More than 15 years after the appearance of Joe Sacco’s “Palestine,” a classic work of comics journalism, a new generation of artists has begun to dedicate themselves to journalistic comics. In this work, entitled “Os filhos de Joe Sacco“ [Joe Sacco’s Children], I present an overview of these new productions in Brazil and abroad. Among the interviewees, the editors Carlo Gubitosa, from Italy, and Matt Bors, from the United States, and the US-American artist Dan Archer.
